Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you use AuditLabs.
Last updated 22 August 2026
1. These terms
These terms govern your use of AuditLabs at https://auditlabs.in. AuditLabs is a platform owned and operated by BrightLabs Infrasoft Solutions Private Limited. Its registered office is Innov8 Pranava Business Park, 7th Floor, Sy. No. 29 to 33, Kothaguda (K.V. Rangareddy), Serilingampally, Hyderabad, Telangana 500084, India. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean BrightLabs Infrasoft Solutions Private Limited, and AuditLabs is the name under which it operates this platform — not a separate company.
By creating an account, buying a service, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
2. What we do
We operate a technology platform for taxation, business registration, licensing and ongoing compliance in India. Through it you choose a service, share your documents, track progress, and receive the filed returns, certificates and acknowledgements.
BrightLabs Infrasoft Solutions Private Limited is a technology company, not a firm of chartered accountants. It does not hold a certificate of practice and does not render attest, audit or assurance services in its own name. The regulated work behind every service — preparing, reviewing, certifying and filing — is carried out end to end by independent, authorised professionals whom we engage for your case, as described in clause 3.
We are also not a government body. Applications and returns are submitted on your behalf; the decision to approve, register, assess or grant any licence rests entirely with the relevant authority. Content on the platform, including guides, calculators and the in-app assistant, is general information generated for convenience and is not professional advice on your specific circumstances — only the professional assigned to your case gives you that.
3. Who performs your work
Every filing is handled by a qualified professional — a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Cost Accountant, tax practitioner or advocate, as the work requires — who is independently registered with their own professional body and authorised to practise. We select and engage the professional for your case, give them the platform to work in, coordinate the case with you, and pay them.
- Their professional judgement is their own. We do not direct, override or influence the technical conclusions a professional reaches on your case, and we cannot instruct one to certify something they are not satisfied with.
- They are bound by their own professional standards. That includes the code of ethics, confidentiality obligations and disciplinary jurisdiction of their institute — obligations they owe you directly, and which we cannot relieve them of.
- Certification is signed by the professional. Where a filing must be signed, certified or attested by a member in practice, that signature is theirs and is given in their own name and membership number, never in ours.
- Your contract for the service is with us. You buy the service from us and pay us; we are responsible to you for delivering it, and we are responsible for engaging and paying the professional. You are not asked to contract with, or pay, the professional separately.
If a professional becomes unavailable mid-case, we will assign another suitably qualified professional and the service continues.
4. Your account
- You must give accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authority.
- One person or business per account. Do not share credentials with anyone outside your organisation.
5. Your responsibilities
The quality and timeliness of a filing depends on what you give us. You agree to:
- Provide complete, truthful and accurate information and documents, and to do so in time for the applicable statutory deadline.
- Respond to our requests for clarification or additional documents promptly.
- Review and approve computations, returns and applications before we submit them where we ask you to.
- Pay any government fees, statutory dues, taxes, penalties and interest directly — these are separate from our professional fees.
We are not responsible for a missed deadline, rejection, penalty or demand caused by information or documents that were incomplete, inaccurate or provided too late, or by your failure to approve a submission we placed before you.
6. Fees and payment
- Prices shown on the platform are the fee for the service, in Indian Rupees, payable to us. That single fee covers both the platform and the work of the professional assigned to your case — you are never billed separately by the professional.
- Prices are exclusive of government fees and statutory levies unless expressly stated. Applicable GST is charged in addition, at the prevailing rate.
- Fees are payable in advance. Work begins once payment is confirmed.
- Recurring services are billed for the term you choose. We generate each period's case automatically for the duration of that term.
- Government fees, challans, stamp duty and similar statutory amounts are payable by you directly to the authority and are never collected by us as part of our fee.
- We are the merchant of record for every payment made on the platform. Your card or bank statement shows our name, and the tax invoice is issued by us.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Turnaround times
Any timeline we quote is an estimate based on normal processing. We cannot control government portal downtime, processing backlogs, departmental queries or changes in law, and delays arising from those are not a breach of these terms.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, including tax evasion, money laundering, or submitting false or forged documents.
- Upload malware, attempt to breach or probe our security, or access another user's data.
- Scrape, resell or redistribute our content, pricing or knowledge base without written permission.
- Overload the platform with automated requests.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this clause, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
10. Intellectual property
The platform, its software, design, and our guides and templates remain our property. You keep ownership of everything you upload, and you grant us the limited right to use it for the purpose of delivering the services you have engaged us for.
11. Confidentiality
We treat your business and financial information as confidential and disclose it only as described in our Privacy Policy, or where required by law or professional obligation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or for penalties, interest or demands levied by an authority on you.
Because the regulated work is performed by an independent professional (clause 3), that professional carries their own professional responsibility for the opinions they give and the documents they sign, under the rules of their institute. That is in addition to, not instead of, our own obligation to deliver the service you bought from us — you raise any complaint with us in the first instance, and we will take it up.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.
13. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where we are required to by law. On termination you keep access to your records for a reasonable period to download them, subject to our retention obligations.
14. Changes
We may amend these terms. Material changes take effect when posted here, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Changes do not affect the terms applicable to a service you have already paid for.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at the place of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, both sides agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith by writing to support@auditlabs.in.
