Refund & Cancellation Policy

What happens if you change your mind, and what we can and can't refund.

Last updated 22 August 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to service fees paid for taxation, registration, licensing and compliance services purchased through AuditLabs. AuditLabs is a platform owned and operated by BrightLabs Infrasoft Solutions Private Limited. You pay us for the service and we refund you directly — the professional who carries out the work does not bill you and does not handle your refund. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Government fees are never refundable

Government fees, statutory charges, stamp duty, challans, portal charges and taxes are paid to the relevant authority, not to us. Once paid to the authority they cannot be recovered, whatever the outcome of the application. Our prices are service fees only, and government fees are shown separately before you pay.

3. Cancelling before work starts

If you cancel before we have begun work on your case — that is, while the case is still awaiting documents and no professional has been assigned — you get a full refund of the service fee, less any payment gateway charge that is not returned to us.

4. Cancelling after work has started

Once a professional has been assigned and work has begun, refunds are pro-rated against the work already done:

  • Documents reviewed and computation prepared, but nothing submitted — up to 50% of the service fee is refundable. The professional has already committed time to your case by this point, and that time is payable whatever you decide next.
  • Application or return submitted to the authority — the service fee is not refundable, because the service has been delivered.
  • Multi-service or bundled orders — services not yet started are refunded in full; those already delivered are not.

5. Recurring subscriptions

You may cancel a recurring service at any time. Cancellation stops future periods from being generated; it does not refund periods already filed. Where you have prepaid for a term, we refund the unused, unfiled periods of that term on a pro-rata basis.

6. Rejections by the authority

If an application is rejected because of an error on our part, we correct and re-file it at no additional service fee. Government fees for the re-filing, where the authority charges them again, remain payable by you.

If the rejection results from information or documents that were inaccurate, incomplete or provided late, or from a change in law or the authority’s discretion, the service fee is not refundable — but we will tell you clearly what went wrong and what the options are.

7. Duplicate and failed payments

A duplicate payment, or a payment debited without an order being created, is refunded in full. If money left your account but your order does not show as paid, contact us with the payment reference — we reconcile gateway payments automatically and will not keep a payment that has no service attached to it.

8. How to request a refund

Raise a support ticket from your dashboard, or email support@auditlabs.in with your order reference and the reason. We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and decide within 7 business days.

9. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method through the payment gateway. Once we initiate a refund, banks and card issuers typically take 5–10 business days to post it to your account. We cannot refund to a different account from the one that made the payment.

10. Questions

If you disagree with a refund decision, reply on the same ticket and ask for it to be escalated. We would rather resolve it directly than leave you unhappy.
